Synthelio is the operating system for software houses: one platform for people, client engagements, and the margin underneath both. We are pre-launch, building in the open with a founding cohort of real software houses. As one of our first engineers, you will own features end to end and watch them go straight into the hands of the people who use them.
What you will do
- Build features across the stack, from Postgres data models and Supabase edge functions to the React front end.
- Turn messy real-world delivery workflows (allocation, time tracking, margin) into clean, reliable product.
- Work directly with our founding-cohort users and help shape the roadmap, not just the tickets.
- Care about correctness. This is financial data, and a wrong number is worse than no number.
What we are looking for
- Strong experience building web apps with React and TypeScript.
- Comfortable with a Postgres or SQL backend; you can model data and write queries you trust.
- You ship end to end and take ownership, which matters a lot on a small team.
- Clear communicator in English, comfortable working remotely.
Nice to have
- Experience with Supabase, serverless functions, or similar.
- You have worked at a software house, agency, or consultancy and know the delivery and margin pain first-hand.
- An eye for product and UX, not just code.
